1. Introduction

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Halo (the "Services"), which includes the Halo lifestyle mobile application and the associated website (currently under creation) provided by Eucalyptus Information Technology Services Company ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), based in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. By accessing, downloading, installing, or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

2. Definitions

  • Services: The Halo lifestyle application (currently in Alpha release) and the Halo website.
  • User / You: Any individual or entity accessing or using the Services.
  • Content: Any text, images, logs, or materials you upload, submit, or generate through the Services.

3. Eligibility and Account Registration

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Services. You agree to provide accurate, complete information and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activities under your account.

4. License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services for your personal, non-commercial lifestyle purposes.

5. Alpha Release Disclaimer

Halo is currently in Alpha release. The Services may contain bugs, errors, incomplete features, and unstable performance. You use them at your own risk. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any features at any time without notice.

6. User Conduct and Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or infringe third-party rights.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, modify, or create derivative works of the Services.
  • Upload harmful code, spam, or inappropriate content.
  • Use the Services for any unauthorized commercial purpose.

7. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of your Content. By submitting Content, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, non-exclusive license to use, host, reproduce, and display it as necessary to provide and improve the Services.

8. Payments and Subscriptions

The Services are currently free during the Alpha phase. In the future, certain features may be offered via paid subscriptions. Subscription terms, pricing, auto-renewal, and cancellation policies will be presented clearly in the App or on the website.

9. Advertising

The Services may display advertisements. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party advertisers.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Eucalyptus Information Technology Services Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, for any reason.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes. Your continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes your acceptance.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Amman, Jordan.
